Getting Started
- Before driving your Mercedes-Benz G-Class for the first time, read
all safety warnings in Section 1. - Familiarise yourself with the instrument cluster, steering controls, and gear
selector. - Adjust the seat, mirrors, and steering column to a comfortable driving position.
- Ensure all
fluid levels are correct and tyre pressure matches the door placard specifications.
Vehicle Controls &
Features
- The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is equipped with an intuitive control layout designed for driver
focus. - The infotainment system supports Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto (where
fitted). - Driver assistance systems including lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking are configurable via
the settings menu. - Climate control, seat heating, and ambient lighting can be adjusted from the central
touchscreen or physical controls.
Safety Information
- Always fasten seatbelts before moving
the vehicle. - Child seats must be installed according to the specifications outlined in Chapter 3 of this
manual. - The Mercedes-Benz G-Class includes front and side airbags. Do not place objects on or near airbag
deployment zones. - Refer to the towing capacity table before attaching any trailer or load
carrier.
Maintenance Schedule
- Oil changes are recommended every 10,000 km or 12 months,
whichever comes first. - Brake fluid should be replaced every two years regardless of mileage.
- Air filter
replacement is due at 30,000 km intervals under normal driving conditions. - Consult the full Mercedes-Benz service

Troubleshooting & Warning
Lights
- If the check engine light illuminates, do not ignore it — consult a Mercedes-Benz authorised
technician promptly. - Battery warning: pull over safely and do not restart the engine until
inspected. - Tyre pressure monitoring system alerts indicate a tyre is 25% below recommended pressure.
